Freedom Reinsurance Underwriters, Inc.

Freedom Reinsurance Underwriters (Freedom) was formed in 2019 and operates as a domestic reinsurance underwriting manager on behalf of multiple reinsurers looking for profitable growth with offices located in Mt. Laurel, NJ.

Freedom is staffed with 30+ year industry veterans who have successfully worked together for more than 15 years.  Freedom has authority to underwrite, price, quote, and bind business on behalf of several reinsurance markets, both AM BEST A rated and collateralized reinsurers.  We are always looking for new risk-taking partners to grow with so contact us and let's talk.

 

Freedom has long standing relationships with our intermediaries and other senior reinsurance underwriters and executives that have access to attractive books of treaty reinsurance business.

Risk Appetite

Typical coverages originate in the US and include but are not limited to:

  • Non-Standard Automobile

  • Standard Personal Automobile

  • Commercial Automobile

  • Homeowners

  • Multi-Line Package Business (low to medium hazard)

  • Workers Compensation

  • General Liability

FRU will not be writing any stand-alone Catastrophic Risk business.
